INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1-21-25 12:43 am LOCATION: Old Highway 395 & W Lilac Rd AREA/CITY: BONSALL, CA DETAILS: On January 21st, 2025, at about 12:43 AM, San Diego Calfire responded to another reported vegetation fire a few miles South of the Pala Fire near Old Highway 395 and Lilac Rd. The first units at the scene reported a 2-3 acre fire with a moderate rate of spread and a structure threat in the next 20 minutes. Multiple evacuation orders and warnings were issued for the community to the South and Southwest of the fire. As of about 2:00 AM, the fire is reported to be 20-30 acres and is wind-driven.
