The day falls on Saturday February 21st 2026, which just so happened to be my birthday, I get word that the Strasburg Railroad will be featuring one of their only if not their only winter runs of the year and it just so happened to have their Open Air Observation car called the “Hello Dolly” at the rear along with 6 other old passenger cars to create the famed “Long John Limited” excursion. I figured since it was my birthday why not head out to chase and ride it. The train was pulled by Strasburg’s iconic 2-10-0 decapod number 90 with its iconic Reading 6 Chime.
