Protecting the tank heater connections from the elements on our Elddis CV20 Campervan

Cleaning the rust off and and improving weather resistance of the tank heaters on our Elddis CV20 Fiat Ducato based campervan/motorhome. This protects from the elements (pardon the pun). This would be a useful addition to any van, campervan or motorhome to help protect the tank heaters if they are exposed like on the Elddis/Compass CV vans just to keep the connections in good order and avoid premature failure. Thanks to the CV Owners group for highlighting this problem with the tank heater connections. If you own an Elddis or Compass CV campervan, the Facebook CV Owners group is a fantastic place to pick up tips and ideas -   / cvowners   I clean up the connections and install an electrical protection box to help prevent rusting of the connections and ultimately likely failure of the tank heaters. The box I used I purchased from Screwfix: https://www.screwfix.com/p/schneider-... You can also get split conduit from there too if you want to protect the wiring. The stepped drill I used wasthe larger one from a aet of 3 from Amazon for around £11 - EXGOX 3PCS HSS Step Bits Set High Speed Steel Step Drill Bits Set Cone Drill Bits Hole Cutter for Wood Stainless Steel Sheet Metal If you decide to do this yourself, this video is just a guide on how I have gone about it to suit my specific purposes and may not be the best way of going about it.
