In this 2 day video series we take you on the walk from Mont-Louis to the lake Matemale and back. We are walking through the most beautiful forest paths we've ever been to, showing two mountain lakes, getting across different insects and flowers and enjoying the picturesque views. As there are few so nice walking paths by the river we've been to, we were very impressed by the scenery and surrounded area. That is a perfect place to just take a relaxed enjoyable stroll. When we got to Mont-Louis we entered the fortress which holds an old town inside. It is said that nobody could conquer this town as the fortress was built very wisely back in 1679. Nowadays it forms a part of Unesco World Heritage and is a home for the French Army. We didn't enter to the citadel as it requires a ticket, unlike the town entrance which is free.
