In spring, around 400 cherry trees—including Somei Yoshino and Yaezakura—bloom beautifully, allowing visitors to enjoy picnics and strolls surrounded by seasonal flowers and greenery. During the blooming season of azaleas and wild cherry trees, the forest is dyed in shades of red and soft pink. From the observation deck, you can enjoy sweeping views of Mount Kinpu, Mount Ena, and Mount Ibuki. The park is perfect for picnics, birdwatching, and enjoying nature. When this footage was taken, the cherry blossoms were beginning to fall, and the peak viewing period had passed—but in exchange, we were able to enjoy the beauty of the falling petals.
