2023 LINCOLN NAUTILUS: PREVIEW, PRICING, RELEASE DATE MODEL PREVIEW The 2023 model year will be the last one for the Lincoln Nautilus. Reports indicate that the midsize SUV will be discontinued after 2023, marking a short run for the SUV, which came out in 2019. The news coincides with reports that Ford will be ending production of the Edge, which is the base for the Nautilus. The upcoming Nautilus should have the same exterior design as the current SUV that’s on sale. While the shape of the Nautilus isn’t new, the SUV came out as a replacement for the MKX, the midsize SUV has an upscale look. The front end features a relatively small square grille, rectangular headlights, and thin daytime running lights. The rear end has oval taillights that are connected by a horizontal bar. Simple, curvy lines make the Nautilus look more conservative than most in the segment, but they give the SUV an understated design. For the 2023 model year, we don’t expect to see any changes to the Nautilus’ interior. The current model has a horizontal design with few sharp edges or curves. The center console is detached from the dashboard and acts as a central hub for the majority of the vehicle’s physical controls. Lincoln fits the Nautilus with premium materials, especially in the Black Label trim. The current Nautilus comes with an extensive list of high-tech features that include a 13.2-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a Wi-Fi hot spot, a 10-speaker audio system, satellite radio, Bluetooth, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Available tech features include a wireless charging pad, a 19-speaker Revel audio system, navigation, a rear-seat entertainment system, an HD Radio.
