Chinese actress Fan Bing Bing celebrates Valentino's 50 year anniversary

(31 Aug 2012) FAN BING BING CELEBRATES 50 YEARS OF VALENTINO Fashion brand Valentino is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The creative directors of the Italian brand have designed a capsule collection which incorporated some of their most iconic looks. The collection is being displayed at a high end shopping center in Hong Kong. Valentino invited some of their most loyal customers and avid fans, including Chinese actress Fan Bing Bing, Hong Kong pop star Joey Yeung and Chinese model Lynn Xiong, to kick off the exhibition on Friday August 31st, 2012. Dressed in a red leather dress, Fan Bing Bing wore lipstick to match. She said she's always been a huge fan of the brand, because their clothes "really bring out a woman's femininity and charisma." As a fashionista who often wows on the red carpet, Fan makes interesting and bold fashion choices. It is rare to catch her wearing the same dress as other celebrities but when that does happen, Fan says it doesn't bother her, because "the same clothes on different people give out a different vibe." Fan's new film "Double Xposure" is about to be released in China. While promoting the film, Fan told reporters that she's in a committed and stable romantic relationship. While she is tight-lipped about the identity of her new man, it was enough to prompt reporters and netizens of China to go on a man hunt for Fan's significant other. At the Valentino event, Fan was busy fending off all sorts of rumors. Fan remains mysterious about her personal life, and hopes to brings the focus back to her work. The intimate scenes in new film "Double Xposure" is also getting a lot of attention. Fan said that it doesn't take away from that fact that it's still "a great film." The Valentino capsule collection is sold in limited numbers around the world. The exhibition in Hong Kong is from Sept. 1st - 9th.
