One charged, two fired in abuse of one year-old child at Ohio daycare

One woman is facing criminal charge of child endangering after she and another person were fired from a Pataskala daycare center for allegedly abusing a child. Katelyn Strohacker, 23, is accused of using painters tape to bind a one year-old. The other person who was fired was not identified. Investigators say parents of the child told them about the abuse on August 7, saying their little girl was abused at the Over the Rainbow Childrens Center. Deputies arrested Strohacker. Investigators said she put painters tape on the child’s eyes, legs and hands, and left her under a blanket, face-down, unattended for an hour. They said she admitted to doing this “on more than one occasion.” No one from the daycare would go on camera, but said in a statement “We became aware of an incident involving a former employee.
