I'm a 30-something from Oregon who quit my job, sold my house, and headed to Mexico for six weeks on a solo adventure. I'm back in Oregon now, just regrouping before my next move. This is part two in a three part travel vlog series from #Bacalar #Mexico. In this episode, I'm mostly being my weird self with the aid of a little tequila. My friend and I went out to dinner at my favorite restaurant and bar in Bacalar, La Piña. One night after we finished our meal, the waiter came by and asked us if we liked tequila. Of course, I asked him if a bear shits in the woods.... A few minutes later, he came out with a game for us to play to earn a free shot of tequila. The whole interaction was a ton of fun and I had a great dinner with my friend. The whole night was pretty great. I also show off my favorite souvenir find from my time in México - a handmade purse made from recycled intertubes by a local artist from Mexico City. The lizard from episode 11 makes another appearance.... And I spend an afternoon at the Yaxche private beach club that sits on the Lagoon. An afternoon relaxing isn't complete without dogs, and I met two of them while lounging at the club! And, of course, great music, a little drone footage and shots from the beautiful town of Bacalar, home to the Lagoon of Seven Colors.
