The Suede UK tour continues into week 2! This was my third show and first time seeing Suede in York. It was a Saturday so PARTY NIGHT at the show and in town. York is a beautiful medieval city but of course when travelling for Suede, you sadly don't see much of the city where you are unless you arrive a day early or stay on. The Barbican is concrete from the outside but that's where its similarities end to our beloved London Barbican! I feel like I haven't heard this Bloodsports-era song in a long time. I love it. And somehow I forgot how filled with longing and desire it is?! It's amplified by how many times Brett flings himself at the barrier and is grabbed, squeezed and touched by so many. He rises from laying down to being fully embraced and looks at all of us with so much sass. Fierce!
