THIS IS NOT MONETISED - IT IS SHARED FOR ARCHIVAL PURPOSES On the morning of October 16th, 2024 a grey 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander stopped next to the GRU (military intelligence) Colonel Nikita Klenkov's (44) white Hyundai Palisade and opened fire with a pistol from the driver's seat (at least 8 shots based on local reports) resulting to his death. The perpetrator immediately threw the weapon and drove off the scene. The officer was driving from his house to the Special Operations Training Centre "Senezh" (Military Unit 43292), where he served as Deputy Commander, and was attacked near the exit to the Pyatnitskoye Highway. Just one week before he had returned from the frontline in Ukraine.
