Huntsville, Tx Tour: Fair on the Square Festival, Live Music & Antiques

Huntsville is located about 70 miles or an hours drive north of Houston, Texas. The town is a small college town with a mix of history. There is a strong attachment to Sam Houston, who resided there at one point (and is buried there). The town includes the Sam Houston State University (SHSU), and the Texas State Prison. This video features the town square area centered around Walker County Courthouse, during the Fair on the Square festival. I got a $12 hamburger combo at Mr. Hamburger but it didn't include any of the things it was supposed to like lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles and Mr. Hamburger and I are not on good terms. The Texas State Prison was nearby and that was quite the thing to see just sitting there in town. I found the Jolly Fox music venue but didn't have a chance to check it out but I heard it's a real unique Huntsville experience with the college student partying vibe. Ultimately I made it to Madisonville for my gig at Texas Legends Steakhouse. Good times.
