Waterloo, Ontario: Driving Tour Of Downtown Along King Street

In this video, we take a driving tour down King Street in downtown Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. The video starts at Weber Street and actually ends in the adjacent city of Kitchener. Waterloo is one of three major cities that make up the Regional Municipality of Waterloo, along with Kitchener and Cambridge. The population of Waterloo is 105,000 while the combined population of the region is 535,000. The city was incorporated in May, 1857 and is home to two universities, University of Waterloo and Wilfred Laurier University. Soon, the city will be connected to its regional neighbours by light rapid transit. The tracks can be seen throughout the video, adjacent to King Street. The video ends in downtown Kitchener.
