After 2 days on the party island of Koh Phi Phi, it was time for a change of scenery, and Koh Lanta was my next stop. My stay in Koh Phi Phi took an unexpected turn when my vlogging camera was stolen from the hostel—the first time anything has been taken from me in 10 years of backpacking! But I didn’t let that stop me. I switched to using my iPhone to capture the last moments on the island, showing a quick tour of the beautiful beaches, bustling streets, and the ferry port before catching the boat to Koh Lanta. Upon arriving in Koh Lanta, I checked into a hotel for just £9 a night—my first private room in ages! Though the sound quality in this video isn't quite the same, I hope you still enjoy this glimpse of my travels.
