In this episode of our Continental Divide Trail thru hike, Prima, Skittles, and I hike across the Great Divide Basin in Wyoming. While bleak and challenging, this section was incredibly beautiful and vast as well. Thru hiking with a dog in this section is usually not recommended due to the heat and lack of water, but we were lucky in that the rain we got in the Winds cooled everything off so that this section was much safer than normal.
