Memories of the Central Carolina Live Steamers 1989 - 1991

The Central Carolina Live Steamers built a magnificent track at the home of Tony and Judy Sears. The railroad eventually included a huge trestle, many smaller bridges, a roundhouse, and a wood fired saw mill. This video is a composite of several visits to the CCLS in 1989 and 1991. The track ran through a beautiful area that included ornamental plantings and woods, ponds, and flower beds. Curves were broad and the track was smooth. During the years when this video was made, steam power predominated. If you were a member of the Live Steam "fraternity" in 1990, you are almost certain to see fellows you knew. I hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed visiting, recording and riding the CCLS railroad!
