Mechs - Photobomber BUILD with Monstrous Macaw, Titus Rivendare, Rylak Metalhead, Refreshing Anomaly, Timewarped Herald, Timewarped Apples, and Timewarped Greenskeeper. One of the most satisfying ways to win in Hearthstone Battlegrounds is by destroying your opponent’s entire board before the combat phase even properly begins. This build revolves around the powerful Photobomber and the unique interaction with Timewarped Herald, which allows deathrattles to trigger before the main part of the fight starts. When combined with Titus Rivendare, the effect becomes devastating, creating massive AOE explosions that can wipe out enemy boards instantly. The biggest challenge with the Photobomber strategy is scaling the damage of its deathrattle, which requires repeatedly casting tavern spells. In this lobby I discovered an incredible trick that solved this problem completely. By combining Rylak Metalhead with Refreshing Anomaly and the Timewarped Apples spell, I was able to continuously buff the Photobomber simply by rolling the tavern. Every roll effectively generated additional scaling, and the synergy created an absurd economy engine that granted more than forty free rolls per turn. This allowed the deathrattle damage to grow extremely quickly while simultaneously digging through the tavern for the perfect pieces. The anomaly in this lobby also provided Timewarped units directly in the shop, which made the entire setup even easier to assemble and pushed the build to another level. Once everything was online, the result was one of the most explosive and entertaining Mech builds imaginable, capable of deleting full enemy boards before they could even make their first attack. This match produced one of the most fun and memorable Battlegrounds experiences I have had in a very long time, and it perfectly demonstrates how creative interactions between new mechanics can create completely unexpected strategies.
