So I heard that Coco Bandicoot is going to be a full time playable character (or at least unlockable) in the N. Sane Trilogy remake of Crash Bandicoot. This gives me a lot of mixed feelings. For one, it's kinda out of character for her to do the same moves Crash does. She's a lot smarter than that. Another reason is that my sister hates this character. As I get older, I can definately see why which kinda makes me glad she wasn't included in Skylanders Imaginators (although I do wonder what element and battle class would she be in as a Sensei). Anyways, I also heard that Debi Derryberry who you may know as Jimmy Neutron, Nergal Jr from Billy and Mandy and Draculaura from Monster High is reprising her role as Coco after 9 years of absense on the consoles. Let's enlist the other times she voiced Coco in the previous games. The only other three voices of Coco are Vicki Winters in her first appearance which is the second game, Hynden Walch (who you may know as Chopscotch in Skylanders Imaginators, Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time and Starfire from the original Teen Titans and yes, even Teen Titans Go!) in Crash Team Racing and Tara Strong (who voices a lot of characters like Timmy Turner, Bubbles, Ben Tennyson, Twilight Sparkle) in the Skylanders Academy TV series. Those were only one time while Debi did Coco in seven games (nine if counting the N Sane Trilogy into 3 games, I heard you can play as her in the first of the Trilogy). Debi also managed to voice a Crash Bandicoot character in more games than any other voice actor of the entire franchise. I heard she was made when Tawna who is Crash Bandicoot's Girlfriend was removed from the second game due to demands from Universal Interactive Studios and Naughty Dog was not happy with her redesign. Universal has been treating the people behind Crash Bandicoot badly like when they underpaid Clancy Brown (the second voice of Dr. Neo Cortex) resulting Lex Lang to be his replacement. I'm glad Universal doesn't do video games anymore. Activision at least allows the developers to try and be as faithful to the original Crash Bandicoot as possible with very few changes like giving Tawna the capability of defending herself. In the N.Sane Trilogy, she is going to have a few lines also provided by Derryberry. BTW, sorry to pinch one of your videos, YRocTheEliteSlayer. It was the only video I could find until the game comes out which is in 2 weeks.
