I put the real Porsche GT4 RS on track and then jumped into sim racing to see how close it really gets. On road courses, sims struggle with one big limitation, situational awareness. In the real car, you can glance out the sides, pick your entry, apex, and exit points in a way no monitor or VR setup can match. But when I switched to a full ARCA circle track race, sim racing absolutely shined. Most of what you need to see is right in front of you, the feedback comes through the wheel, and it’s shockingly close to the real thing. Here’s where the line between real racing and sim racing blurs… and where it doesn’t. After racing with the Logitech G923, I decided it was time to step up my sim racing game and build the dream rig I’ve always wanted. In this video, I walk you through my full upgrade to an all-MOZA setup, completely replacing the Logitech with premium gear. From the R9 V3 wheelbase and CS V2P steering wheel to the CRP2 load cell pedals, HGP shifter, and the AB9 force feedback shifter knob, this is the sim racing rig I’ve been working toward. I’ll show you the components, the build process, and my first impressions after putting it all together. I also talk about why I chose to spend my own money on MOZA, and whether I think it was worth the jump from the more budget-friendly Logitech. This video is not sponsored, so you’re getting my honest take as someone who’s just passionate about sim racing and wanted to build something better. If you’re thinking about upgrading your own setup, or just curious to see what a big step up looks like, this one’s for you. https://mozaracing.com/?ref=gears I earn a small percentage from affiliate links.
