A Global Council for Responsible AI was established to look at how organizations can deploy and develop AI, ensuring alignment of values around certifications, human dignity, safety and long term accountability. Members are working with regulators, public authorities and technology companies that are developing AI to ensure that as AI evolves, so does the trust in the environment and the use of data is being done in a way that still upholds the values of human dignity, privacy and security. AI regulations are not meant to stifle creativity or hinder innovation, but to ensure it's done responsibly. Just like with privacy, these guardrails are designed to protect individuals and organizations from serious risks while encouraging thoughtful, sustainable innovation.
