Express Service from Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen St Scotrail first class.

Welcome to Speedwell Travel. My name is Eve and today I am travelling from Edinburgh Waverley to Glasgow Queen St. I do not normally use this service as it is easier for me to use Glasgow Central Station to get to Edinburgh. Despite it taking longer, it would take me as much time to walk up to Queen St, I'm also a bit lazy too. This service is the express service though at 52 minutes with limited stops. It normally is the busiest commuter service in Scotland. Today it is Sunday so really quiet and for some reason I seem to have a first class ticket that I do not remember buying so I relaxed and enjoyed this journey. Really lovely cabin, seats and space. I had the whole carriage to myself up to Croy when one other passenger got on. I think on weekdays, for the busy commuter runs, there is some level of catering which is pay for. It is not available at weekends. There is a slower train with more stops to different stations should you want to get elsewhere so worth taking a look closer at the timetable. The Glasgow Central service to Edinburgh is only standard class and does not have catering at all. I was enjoying the first class section of the train but for this length of journey I am not sure I would pay for it being such a quick route.
