Remove Ear Pads & Disassemble Sennheiser HD 300

How to remove and change ear pads cushions Sennheiser HD 300 headphones and how to disassemble Sennheiser wired headphones. The same type is Sennheiser HD4.50 model. Sennheiser HD 300 ear pads on Aliexpress: https://bit.ly/3Fvf04s Sennheiser HD 300 ear pads on Amazon: US https://amzn.to/3gXpTBC UK https://amzn.to/3DMXBCM DE https://amzn.to/3SJAptC To remove the padding set, you have to pull the pads off the body of the headphones with your index finger. The edge of the pad is held inside the groove of the headphone housing. It's that easy, and here's the speaker side itself. The link to the new replacement ear pads cushion will be in the video description. Now I will show you how to disassembly the Sennheiser HD 300 headphones. Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew all 4 screws, but be careful that the magnet of the speaker doesn't pull the screws in, because then the speaker will be damaged. So cover the speaker with your hand to keep the screws away. Once all the screws are unscrewed, you can easily open the headphone housing. As these are not wireless headphones, there is not much inside. I will show the colour wiring, maybe someone can use it when repairing these headphones. Put the speaker housing back on top and screw the headphones back on, but remember about the speaker magnet. The ear pad cushion seam should be down, the target is to get the edge of the ear pad into the groove of the headphone housing. I start by putting the edge of the ear pad into the top part of the headphone housing. With one hand pull the edge into the groove, with the other hand hold the already pulled edge, so that it doesn't slip out, this way slowly moving forward the whole edge of the ear pads will be in place. At the end, you can rotate the ear pad itself a little, so that it slips into the groove better. That's all. If you have any questions, feel free to write it below this video. Next time I'll show you how to replace the broken 3.5mm jack on these sennheiser headphones like a pro.
