Armageddon steel Legion - Army Painter "Desert Yellow" triad test

A bit of basecoating done today, on the first group of Steel Legion troopers. For these, I went with a Matt Black undercoat, followed by the Desert Yellow triad from The Army Painter. Barren Yellow all over, Desert yellow from about 45 degrees above the miniature and up to the top, and finally "Yellow Dune" from above the mini, at a 70 to 90 degree angle. This gives a gradient on all of the greatcoats, in a nice faded mustard yellow, and prepares the rest of the miniature for Speedpaints and Fanatic paints. Really fast too, I used the paints unthinned with my 0.25mm needle and they went through really smooth. About 40 minutes in total for this group, from black primer to done.
