The Thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat

This is a combination of fossil hunting trips that my son and I made over two days to one of our favorite Summerville fossil hunting locations. Mere minutes after beginning our hunt, I found an arrowhead and my son found a nice moden tiger shark tooth and a mako. Near the end of our trip that day, I spied the tip of an immense megalodon tooth hanging out of the edge of the creek. Watch as I unearth it with a pocketknife found on one of last year's Edisto river dives! We also found a gigantic washout where the stream had eroded a large amount of gravel, so the second day we screened the bottom of that washout for teeth. It was loaded!
