Babe the Blue Ox: Babe was no ordinary ox. He was enormous, with a coat as blue as the sky on a clear summer day. This gentle giant had big, kind eyes and enormous horns that sparkled in the sunlight. According to the stories, Paul found Babe as a calf in the snow, and the cold turned him blue! Babe grew at an astonishing rate, soon becoming as big as a mountain. Despite his size, Babe was as playful as a puppy and loved frolicking in the vast wilderness with Paul. His footsteps created lakes and his playful antics in the mud formed valleys. Their Adventures Together: Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox were a legendary team. They traveled across America, and it's said that their activities shaped much of the country's landscape.
