ABR Festival 2022 roundtrip Nl-UK

Two years ago my planned overseas off-road trip was threatened to get cancelled due to the possible covid restrictions, so I set out some alternatives. I did a WW-I road trip in Belgium and the north of France and in an impuls I did an early birds booking for the ABR Festival in Ragley Hall UK. My first attendance and first time camping with the bike. First time using the Eurotunnel as well. I left on Wednesday to be able to combine a South/South-East Coast UK trip to my arrival on the festival grounds Friday morning. Same for the way home, but now only one day extra. Sunday, the last day of the ABR, the site closes at 17:00, same as the Friday morning opening, not a convenient schedule for long distance travellers. Driving the UK coast line roads was a bit disappointing in its high lights as I have seen mostly too narrow roads for the population density and I needed my eyes on traffic more than I could look at my surroundings. On my way back to The Netherlands I left the motorway under London and crossed Kent county which was a great ride with less traffic and beautiful landscapes, al the way to the Eurotunnel. The ABR was a great experience. I have spent more time on the trail (and the ground) then on the festival ground.
