Shredding Pismo Beach Sand Dunes in the

Here's a little mash up of some old footage I had laying around of me shredding my Can-am X3xRS and exploring the Oceano Sand Dunes in my 2018 Ford F250 Superduty leveled on 37's. I never intended this to actually be edited into a video, but I figured someone would enjoy it. I filmed this video in April of 2019 while spending an entire week out at at the Oceano Sand Dunes in Pismo Beach, Ca in my tow hauler. I was visiting from Arizona while on my honey moon with my wife. I'm glad I got to visit before they eventually shut it down to off-road vehicular use. The California Coastal Commission won a 10-0 vote in March, 2021. They claim that driving on the sand is causing bad air quality and health issues for the neighboring communities and harming endangered wildlife species. During my stay, a good majority of the dunes/park were already closed down with very little are to ride given the 18 miles Coastal Dunes that exist. The fact that they blame driving on the sand to be the cause of bad air quality when the area is prone to very high coastal winds that blow the sand inland is beyond me..
