Recorded on Oct 3, 2015. In addition to dynamic control, other challenges include arpeggiated chords and the accent notes. The most difficult arpeggiated chord is in bar 6. I need dedicated practice on arpeggiated chords in the future. The recording process of “L3#16 Come Back to Sorrento” is not as pleasant as that of “L3#15 Steal Away”. I have repeatedly recorded my performance of this song; I repeatedly failed in making a clean video. To my surprise, I didn’t lose patience before producing a total of seven acceptable videos, among which I uploaded the last one. The recording success rate is as low as 22.6% (i.e., 7/31). On Oct 11, I finished learning “L3#17 In The Hall of The Mountain King”. I still have not yet recorded L3#17, because I plan to improve my recording success rate by spending a few more days playing L3#17 while I am learning “L3#18 An American Hymn”. My goal is to boost the success rate up to 50% without paying little attention to controlling the dynamics of the intriguing “Mountain King” piece composed by Edvard Grieg. I had made a few mistakes that I didn't recognize until I received the following feedback from Mike. If you pin point any mistake of my performance recorded in this video, please let me know.
