Hello welcome back to my channel. In this video, I step away from my comfort zone again and try to create a realistic drawing (painting?) using alcohol markers. I'm usually all about colour pencil realism, but today I'm experimenting with my new Ohuhu markers (not sponsored) to see if I can achieve an effect that I like. You'll see the entire process from the freehand sketching all the way to the final details, all in real-time with all the mistakes left in for your enjoyment. I'm just learning as I go, sharing my thoughts, struggles, and little discoveries along the way. This is not a tutorial. I have no idea what I'm doing ;-) 👉 If you're into realism, traditional art, or you're curious how a coloured pencil artist approaches markers, this one's for you. Materials used Ohuhu Alcohol Markers. 320 Honolulu Set B (Brush and Bullet tip) Strathmore Bristol Smooth. Ohuhu White Gel Pen. Derwent mechanical pencil A yellow kneaded eraser (nicknamed HOMER) that came in a Scrawlrbox years ago! 🔔 Subscribe for more realism, process videos, and honest experiments with new media! 👍 If you enjoyed watching me struggle (just a little), please like and comment — it helps more than you know. 📸 Follow my arty endeavours on Instagram: @helencarterartist 🛒 Buy prints or originals: helencarterartist.com
