On May 3, 2007, the Vancouver Canucks faced elimination against the Anaheim Ducks in Game 5 of the Western Conference semi-finals. All-Star goalie Roberto Luongo had carried the team all season, but when he vanished during intermission for what he called an "equipment issue," backup goalie Dany Sabourin suddenly had to protect the Canucks’ season in overtime. For three tense minutes and thirty-four seconds, Sabourin faced the Ducks’ top stars and turned away every shot until Luongo returned to the ice. It was a bizarre moment that fans still talk about today. 💻 Website: https://canucksarmy.com 🐦 Follow on Twitter: / canucksarmy 📲 Follow on Instagram: / canucksarmydotcom 👍 Like on Facebook: / canucksarmy 📺 Subscribe on YouTube Produced by Jacob Lazare Written by Lachlan Irvine Narrated by Irfaan Gaffar Edited by Atsu Nickel #Canucks #StanleyCup #StanleyCupPlayoffs #NHL #Hockey #Playoffs #BathroomBreak
