Winning the Chapter 5 race is a mandatory part of the story, so you'll get the trophy "Supercharged" for winning the race automatically too. On easy difficulty this easy. But on Classic this is literally the hardest part of the game because opponents drive much faster than you (despite having the same car). This video is meant to show you how to get past the most difficult section in the game on Classic Mode. It can take a while to get used to the controls, as the race car can get spun around very easily when you steer too sharply or opponents trying to push you offroad. Tips: Do a few test laps where you really focus on driving clean laps, don't worry so much about winning at first. When you're familiar with the vehicle's handling, push hard in the first lap. You should get to at least 4th place in the first lap. Otherwise you don't stand a chance and should restart checkpoint. If you spin around you won't stand a chance to win anymore, restart checkpoint. Use automatic transmission, not manual (this is easier, can be enabled in game options) Halfway through the track there's an "S-Curve" with a little hill on the right that some opponents like to jump over. Don't use this shortcut! Instead, slow down 10-15% before and stay on the road cleanly. The jump will spin you around on landing half of the time and does more harm than good. Press X (PS4) / A (XB1) when driving in a straight line but DON'T steer while doing so. It's the "Ram" Button and gives a Speed Boost. Tap this button repeatedly, don't hold it. It only gives a short boost on tapping, not holding the button. Especially on the final stretch this is useful. When on the final stretch always look behind you (R3) to "block" opponents behind you by driving in front of them. They can drive much faster than you and like to overtake you in the last second.
