Patrick Lencioni, one of my favourite authors, has distilled the essence of leadership, culture and high performing organisations into an instructional resource called "The Advantage". He identifies 4 major disciplines for organisational health which are: 1. Build a cohesive leadership team 2. Create Clarity 3. Overcommunicate Clarity 4. Reinforce Clarity The book provides the strategic and tactical tools to be able to create a healthy organisation. From my perspective, if you can build these concepts into the systems of your business so that everything you and your team does drives these behaviours that increase organisational health, you will have an amazing team and consequently, an amazing place to work.
