When looking to buy this, there were lots of videos to get great info...but mostly on the advanced way people are using them. This is your most basic, beginner video, showing how I prepped for a planned outage (California life) with the two items we really needed....the refrigerator/freezer, and the router for the internet. Plus a scanner during some of the hours. Because mountain life is all about the scanner. We made it through the 22 hour outage with no recharging by keeping the refrigerator turned down, and actually unplugging it for about 5 hours from 6am-11am when it was fairly cold/cool in the house. The app told me I had about 23% battery left, which equated to ~15 hours. It's likely that would have been slightly less, as the compressor on the fridge sucks up more, but I'm fairly confident it would have gotten us through at least ~32-34 hours, especially if we cycled off the fridge again. Next step will be to buy solar panels for recharging. Or I'll just wheel it down to the PG&E "Comfort Station" and plug it in for a few hours to power it up LOL
