Running N Scale Trains - Bob McKay's Pennsylvania Railroad Layout - Feat.

On August 16th I met up with friend/fellow YouTuber, ‪@TerencetheTractor525‬ here in Pennsylvania and we met with fellow hobbiest, Bob McKay at his house. Bob has a large N scale layout in his basement which is modeled after he Pennsylvania Railroad. The 3 of us spent the good part of the afternoon into the evening running trains, and I'll also shot some video footage while we were there as well. The afternoon started off by Bob showing us some of the recent locations he's been working on adding to parts of the layout. He also talked about some of the changes he's made over the last year since our last visit. After that, we started running trains, which at first it took some time for me and Christian to get familiar with the Digitrax system. While I have worked with Digitrax DCC before, my memory is a bit blurry on it. After that though, Christian and I got some trains running and had a great time having a play on Bob's layout. N scale is quite impressive when its done right. For those who don't know, this layout has been a 20+ year project that Bob has been working on constantly. It is a multilayered layout and as mentioned previously is modeled after the Pennsylvania Railroad. DCC is present here with the Digitrax system, allowing multiple trains to be run at once. Bob has several other features in regards to running trains that he's working on adding to the layout as well.
