On the margins of the Fiftieth Regular Meeting of the Conference of CARICOM Heads of Government, Eastern Caribbean Central Bank Governor Timothy N.J. Antoine continued strategic engagements to advance The Big Push. Discussions with the British High Commission focused on strengthening collaboration in key areas of connectivity and energy security, and included an update on progress toward the establishment of a regional regulator for Citizenship by Investment programmes, work being advanced by the Interim Regulatory Commission chaired by ECCB Governor Timothy N.J. Antoine. Engagement with the Caribbean Private Sector Organisation centred on enhancing trade, regional integration and private sector-led growth. During the meeting, Governor Antoine received a copy of the final report on “De-Risking CSME Imports”, a critical contribution to advancing market integration and reducing trade barriers within the region.
