Saying goodbye to Rubi's at the Whittier Quad. After 29 years Rubi's will be closing their doors. There is no official date yet but we do know that the area is going to be developed in 2025. The Rubi's family would love to continue but they dont have the means to start again and the owners Ramon and Emily are at retirement age. They have decided to call it a career. This beloved restaurant has fed so many Whittier locals over the years.
