Ram Mandir is an important Hindu temple located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, believed to be the birthplace ofLord Rama, and is being constructed by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, in which the idol of Ram Lalla was consecrated on 22 January 2024 and the first floor of the temple has been completed, which is a symbol of grandeur and faith. Location: Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India ( birthplace ofLord Rama ). Construction: By Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. Pran Pratishtha:The idol of Ram Lalla (Lord Rama in child form ) was installed on January 22, 2024 . Design: The construction and design is being overseen by Larsen & Toubro, using sandstone from Rajasthan. Special: Ram Darbar has been established on the first floor of the temple, in which Ram, Sita, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughan and Hanuman are seated together, which is a symbol of Ramrajya. Flag: The temple has a saffron flag on its top, bearing the symbol of Om and the Kovidar tree , symbolizing the Suryavanshi tradition. The temple is built on a centuries-old disputed site where the Babri Masjid, built after demolishing a Hindu temple, once stood. It was built to commemorate the birth of Lord Rama, and is dedicated to his child form 'Ramlala'. The temple complex also houses a large dining hall, kitchen and storage facilities. Ram Darbar was established on the first floor between June 3-5, 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the flag hoisting ceremony of the temple in November 2025. This temple has now become an important center of faith, pride and cultural unity, to visit which lakhs of devotees are reaching Ayodhya.
