Plain biriyani or kuskha recipe: It is one of the very easy biriyani. No need of vegetables and meat, we can make it as a plain biriyani with the masala flavour. Sometimes kids will wants to eat biriyani by that time if we don't have vegetables or meat we can make it as a plain biriyani and make them happy. INGREDIENTS: Basmati rice - 2 cups Ghee - 2 tablespoon Oil - 2 tablespoon Cinnamon, Clove, Elachi, Star Anise, Biriyani leaf Onion - one big onion sliced Green chilly - 1 Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon Tomatoes - medium size 2 Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon Salt Chilly Powder - 1/2 tablespoon Corriender powder - 1 tablespoon Mint and Corriender leaves PROCEDURE: 1. Soak the basmati rice for half an hour. 2. In a pressure cooker add ghee and oil. 3. Once it gets heat add cinnamon, cloves, biriyani leaves, star anise, elachi and fennel seeds. 4. Add onions , green chilly and ginger garlic paste, saute for sometime. 5. Add tomatoes, turmeric powder and salt , cook until the tomatoes become soft. 6. After that add chilly powder, corriender powder and basmati rice. 7. For 2 cups of basmati rice add 3 1/2 cup of water. 8. Close the lid and reduce the flame to sim. 9. Leave it for 10 mins and switch off the gas. 10. One the pressure completely gets down open the lid and serve.
