This Simple technique for making washers will make producing a large quantity of washers quick and easy work. I see no reason why this method wouldn't work well on a wood turning lathe, but I am using my metal turning lathe in this video to make some aluminum shim washers for demonstration purposes. All I did to make the washers was cut up 2 aluminum cans into squares and put some holes in the center of the squares, put them on my lathe and turned some nice looking shim washers from free materials! Use the same technique to turn plastic and other materials too!
