In this fourth livestream episode of Bitwig Community Talks on Jürgen Moosgrabers YouTube channel, we (Odo Sendaidokai (   / @   OdoSendaidokai) and Jürgen Mossgraber (   / @mossgraber  ) ) with Vincent aka „Italo Brutalo“ (http://italobrutalo.com/) from Berlin (https://www.berlin.de/) and Passau (https://www.passau.de/) . Vincent talked about his beginnings in music, how hip hop and rap such as Run DMC (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Run-DMC) and Public Enemy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_...) shaped him in the early 1990s. Since there was no internet back then, he had to teach himself everything through trial and error. From scratching, the Korg DTM 110 (https://www.sequencer.de/syns/korg/DD...) , to discovering the game-changing pitch fader on his first Technics turntable, the sampler Akai S2000 Sampler (https://www.sequencer.de/syns/akai/S2...) , Akai S3200 Sampler (with High Pass Filter) (http://www.synth-db.com/synths/Akai/S...) , Cubase (https://www.steinberg.net/cubase/) on Atari 1040 ST (https://www.atarimuseum.de/1040st.htm) to his first album releases in the mid-1990s. Vincent has a very interesting car, namely K.I.T.T. from the 1980s series Knight Rider (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knight_...) with David Hasselhoff, and the car can be seen on his album covers and in his videos from time to time. He tells us how and where he got it in his very personable way. He recently released his latest album, “Second Horizon,” not just once, but several times (on vinyl, Bandcamp, and other streaming platforms).
