Day Eight: Liquid sugar was the best thing I received! It was so easy to blend with hot or cold drinks. Of course, there's sugar, but this is cane sugar and regular white sugar. Cane sugar reminds me of home in Louisiana. Went bowling to see my cousin Darryl. Then went to Ota-Omori Honcho to check out the sand volleyball games, beach, and Haneda Airport where you can see airplanes. Ota means "rice field." Noticed the city is full of outdoor sports activities nearby. After that, walked to Ota-Higashi Kamata to watch a basketball game. Went out with my old friends to eat sushi. That place gave us an honored table and served us pictures of the sushi names. Thought one plate wouldn't be enough, planned to order a second one, but we were wrong... one plate was so good and fresh. I never had tasted the urchins. Went home for the night. There are a lot of bikes, electric bikes, and special needs bikes. Most of them aren't chained up. Even though I saw piles of electronic things like computers, chairs, and printers laying on the curb. If it was in Chicago, they would be gone in 2 minutes. Yeah, I said the USA is a cruel, fatty land that will do anything to steal. In Japan, there are plenty of vending machines and ATMs standing outside, and they've never been damaged or stolen. Amazing!
