When I put together Gates of the Temple, the core songs were all derived from actual Sumerian inscriptions, each with it's own ETCSL catalog number. The words themselves were to be ancient and entirely authentic. But there was one exception: Self-Praise of the Music was an introduction written and translated (and now, I realize, almost certainly badly) by me. My own words, to accompany those ancient ones. But as is often the case when using generative LLM to produce a song, there is more than just one version you end up with.
