Here i go through my daily routine of find and clearing a spot to camp. Especially inportant when camping as a homeless person in the city area. In this video, I take you through my daily routine of finding and preparing a safe place to camp while living homeless in an urban area. I start by scouting a discreet location and clearing it of hazards—checking for needles, broken glass, and other waste. Safety is always the first priority. Once the area is clean, I set up my tarp shelter and lay out my sleep system, using minimal gear that’s easy to carry and quick to pack down. I also explain some of the risks I consider when choosing a spot: visibility to the public, proximity to foot traffic, the likelihood of being moved on by authorities, and whether the location offers some level of concealment or protection from the elements. The video ends with a wide shot of the setup, showing how well it blends into the environment when night falls. I’m sharing this to raise awareness, offer insight, and maybe help others in a similar situation find safer ways to get through the night.
