In an update on the mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, B.C., RCMP Deputy Commissioner Dwayne McDonald said shooter Jesse Van Rootselaar used an unregistered shotgun to kill her mother and half brother at home, before using different firearms at the high school where six more people were killed. RCMP also released a photo of Van Rootselaar, 18, and cautioned the media and public about spreading misinformation.
