Bulgaria Trails - Seven Rila Lakes

The Seven Rila Lakes are a group of glacial lakes, situated between 2,100 and 2,500 metres elevation above sea level, in the Rila Mountains, Bulgaria. We came to Bulgaria in the summer of 2022 for a couple of hikes in these mountains, which are simply spectacular. Despite the rainy weather, we managed to complete perhaps the two most beautiful and important day trails in Bulgaria (Musala, the highest peak, is the other trail but that's for an upcoming video). Trail: It's widely known as the Seven Rila Lakes trail and it's partly circular. It starts from the "Chalet Seven Lakes", which can be reached by chairlift (the lowest station is called "Lift to the 7 Rila Lakes" on Google Maps and is reachable by car, or maybe taxi/bus from Sofia? Not sure). The trails then takes you upper around the lakes and then up to the best view point over the lakes.
