This is a trip back into Ukraine to deliver aid to the East and the South near the front lines. I have entered through the Siret-Porubne border crossing point about 7 hours drive due North of Bucharest. There is a patch of road for about 80kms on the way which we call 'washing machine' road, as you feel you are in a spin cycle being tossed around. To call this section a road is to be very kind. Years of neglect have left parts of it in a shocking state, so enjoy the tips on getting through this section of road if you go that way. They need our support more than ever given Ukraine is acting as a shield for the rest of us and thousands of Ukrainians have already given their lives to win back their freedom, democracy and territorial independence and protect ours.
