IFD Tactical Rescue Dive Teams 7 & 14 took advantage of the Ice Conditions and frigid temps to get some ice dive training in - across all 3 shifts - yesterday (C) and today (A) with tomorrow being the B Shifts turn. Big thanks to Somerset Lakes Apartments for allowing us to use their lake and clubhouse. It is one partnership we couldn't do without. Because ice conditions in Indianapolis are unpredictable at best, the 64 divers who comprise the #IFD Dive Team, appreciate the opportunity to go subsurface and perfect their skills. Under the command of the IFD Dive Commander Jerry Richert each member of the team gets a minimum of 1 dive per rotation, as conditions allow, and for each diver the time under the water can last anywhere from 10 - 20 minutes. Remember: In Indiana, No Ice is Safe Ice.
