Today we take a ride on one of Luton's train2plane "Thameslink" branded articulated Volvos on the shuttle between Luton Airport Parkway and Luton Airport. As I've mentioned many times, I'm a fan of Volvos, and this was no exception. When I was little I always liked "bendy buses," and with them becoming harder and harder to come across, I'm still happy to jump on one. However, to get across to Malta (there's still more videos to come from there!) I needed to get across to the airport and was too lazy to walk, so payed the £2.40 single fare on the shuttle. However, still being close to London you don't have a ticket printed, which was somewhat disappointing as I had no cash on me and had to pay by card... T4FCC was new as WX55 HWG to First Somerset & Avon as their 10181 for use on "The Bright Orange" University service. First Essex later acquired it for use on the shuttle service for use when trains were ran by First Capital Connect. But when they lost the franchise to Govia the vehicles operated by First out of Luton Airport Parkway transferred to the Go-Ahead group. Now it carries the fleetnumber LUT2. Thanks for taking the time to watch. Feel free to subscribe to stay upto date with when I upload!
