Don't hate on me, but I have not heard of Nightwish or Floor Jansen until a few days ago... This is why I LOVE IT SO MUCH when my viewers suggest I check out new bands or singers in the comments! In doing my research on the above mentioned, I have now also discovered the stunning voice, vocal ability and performance skill of Floor Jansen! This artist sings so well, and seems to have the ability to perform many different styles of vocal music with excellent skill. I found clips of her singing "Phantom of the Opera" with a Dutch tenor, which is from an Andrew Lloyd-Webber musical, lots of metal and hard rock songs, and then... a pop song!
