Welcome back to the channel where we are digging into the rust on this 2011 GMC Sierra 1500, same process for all GMC and Chevy trucks 1999-2013 give or take a few minor differences. If you live anywhere in the rust belt and surrounding areas and have a GM truck you know all about the chevy frame and body rot and today we are doing all 3 cross members, a frame patch, replacement bed rails and a new trailer hitch because well that was rotted as well. After all the repairs we do a thorough oil undercoating of the entire truck. Every truck and rust situation varies and can be a little different so each one should be evaluated before diving into it. Also at some point you have to decide if its work doing this level of work or replacing with a new truck but with that being said and the cost of new trucks that's not always an option for some folks.
